Diane Yokes built a successful business as a freelance makeup artist and stylist in the early 1980s and 1990’s.  Her expertise has led her to the privilege of working with a range of celebrities and dignitaries.  She and her Associates continue to serve the advertising industry by making talent look their best for television commercials, print advertisements, and political campaigns.

During the mid 1990s, Diane found herself working long, obscure hours away from her family.  In an effort to continue practicing her craft while remaining close to her husband and two young daughters, Diane set up a modest photo studio in the basement of her home.  This allowed her to continue using her talents as a stylist in addition to creating unique, personalized looks for actors and models as a photographer.

As Diane’s photography business grew, she came to receive requests for her services from families with young children and students graduating from high school.  They sought out Diane’s creative sensibilities to create looks for their children similar to those she creates for professional talent. Diane’s use of specialty papers and hand coloring combined with custom mats and frames provides each of Diane’s clients with a unique, artistic rendering of images for their home.

 Diane continues to stay focused on the “individual perspective” as a photographer and stylist and enjoys searching for the unique essence and beauty that exists in each person who is willing to participate in the photographic exchange.

All make-up/photo sessions are private and by appointment.  Requests for families are photographed on location or in their home.
